About Kristen Cofer
Kristen Cofer, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with over a decade of experience in orthopedic and spinal medicine. Her experience covers a wide range of orthopedics and includes surgical and non-surgical interventions. Here at SSPMC, she is focused on providing the best non-surgical care and improving the quality of life for her patients.
Kristen graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with a master's degree in physician assistant studies in 2012. Before her career in medicine, she attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She also worked as a guide dog trainer for Southeastern Guide Dogs, assisting the visually impaired.
Kristen is a lifelong resident of Manatee County and graduated from Bradenton Christian School. Kristen and her husband stay busy raising their four daughters. Together, they love to enjoy the outdoors at the beach, at the park, or on the boat. And every summer, you can find them catching lobster in the Florida Keys.
